I wanted to take a minute and introduce ourselves, who we are, and what our vision is all about.
Kahve Cafe all came about during Covid when I brought some baklava over to Youssef from Eclair SLC and a conversation began!
The idea that two pastry business owners could join forces to create an Turkish Coffee Cafe was born.
Both of us have strong ties to our own cultural heritage: I’m 1/2 turkish and Youssef is from Egypt, but we are a bit twisted…in the fun way..and step out of the box to create new and inventive ways to celebrate traditional foods and pastries.
Kindred spirits in the kitchen led to the idea of bringing the Mediteranean gathering over tea and coffee to Utah.
Anyone who knows me, understands that tea at my house usually lasts over 2 hours becasue gathering at the table over tea and conversationis something a lot of people don’t take time to do.
In Turkey as well as Egypt, there is always a daily tea time that gathers the family together in the afternoon to sit, have tea or coffee and enjoy some treats.
Our intention is to create a different sort of family. Our cafe will not only be a fusion of flavors, we will be a fusion family of sorts..twisted, in all the fun ways!
Yes, we are still looking for our “perfect” location, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy our cafe in all sorts of ways.
We have Speciality At Home Experiences that you can rent all the supplies that you need to put on your own Turkish Coffee demonstration to wow your friends and family.
We are developing our Kahve To~Go food line that can be ordered and picked up at Eclair SLC location.
And, lastly, we are creating our own line of Turkish Coffee to take home and enjoy!
