Practice makes perfect right? So, well, overcast Saturdays are ripe for cooking all day!

The step that always slips me up-keeping the corner points together so it stays in that little boat shape. Blah-it always has just opened up when I have cooked them in the past and then they look all f-ugly 😣

Today will be a double batch: one for meat and one for cheese!

There is something magical about making Turkish co

There is something magical about making Turkish coffee.

There is the direct connection to past because it’s still made the same way, in the same pots as it was hundreds of years ago.

There is the personal connection of barista making each cup for each person.

And, there is that swirling energy of YOU that infuses the coffee with all your specialness for your fortune at the end.

So much in one small cup!

Good things take time and it’s taking a minute to find the right space. Maybe I’m being too picky. But, it needs to be special if it’s going to house all that swirling magic!

It’s out there...I just haven’t met it yet!

Sometimes you just need to do climb into the freezer to get supplies!

I am of the mind to never let obstacles get in the way of me getting my shit done!

I may be small but I will figure out a way to make it to the top.

I may be alone in this cafe idea, but I have enough gumption to push thru to the other side, one way or the other.

I may be a single mom taking on a whole big spectrum of business plans but I have a whole team of supporters to turn to for help.

I may not know how this whole thing will work out but I know that it will just because I am stubborn like that!

Petite but powerful is kind of my motto! Never underestimate the little guys!

Just in case you didn’t already know, I don’t take myself too seriously and just sort of go with the flow.

This weekend and this morning was all about catching up w social media content for the team that handles my Facebook stuff..

Writing blogs and doing videos leaves me a bit loopy and silly but i crack myself up as I keep getting back in the ring to keep going!

At the moment, I now have a YouTube channel that will have all these little info videos as well as the cooking class videos to refer to!
